Arrows Workshop – Date to be advised – 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs
The above workshop is for members who are not only new to archery but also for those with more experience. The workshop covers the basics of arrow fletching, and cutting, but further include the removal and instal; of pyles and nocks. Hower the workshope also covers more detailed information in relation to nodes, arrow spine, and straightening
String Making Workshop – Date to be advised- 10:00 hrs to 14:00 hrs
The above workshop is for members who wish to have the satisfaction of making their own bowstrings rather than buying the off the shelf ones – if required the workshop can also touch on making Longbow strings (please request in advance)
Recurve Bow Setup and Tuning – Date to be advised – 10:00 hrs to 16:00 hrs
The above workshop is an absolute must for new archers having purchased their own bow, and for existing archers who need a refresher. In order to be a good archer, it is important to perfect good technique. This is made even harder if your bow is not “pitch perfect” in the first place and performing to its best. We will show you in the first instance how to set up your bow, and then the process of tuning it. Members coming on this workshop will need to have their own equipment in order to undertake this.
